Some of my family members sent me videos of Shia’s being killed by ISIS. It is honestly one of the most disgusting and terrifying things I have ever watched in my life. It’s hard to believe that people are instructing others on the correct way to slit the throats of human beings. What is more, they are verifying deaths by poking the eyes of the shotted.

Cutting throats is what we do to goats on Eid, and that too is done in the most painless way possible. These ISIS armies are lining up fathers, brothers, children, one by one and listening to the men beg for mercy for their families. And in the end, everyone is still killed because apparently mercy is no longer a human trait.

When my prayers are answered, I am happy because it was my wish. When my prayers are not answered, I am even more happy because that was Allah’s wish.
